While I haven’t posted much in the way of nano curiosities or woodworking projects recently, I’ve been lucky to visit old stomping grounds (in Colorado Springs, above) and work in the background on a few practical projects. These include Marianna’s Bracelet Helper, extra luminous signage for a busy traffic/child intersection, some shelves, desk fixtures and even a coffee machine part for colleagues, as well as an order for a portable ballet barre.
I had some items accepted for a juried local exhibition of miniature art which I’m looking forward to. The Positively Petite 2011 exhibition takes place at Place des Arts in Coquitlam 17 Nov – 16 Dec.
The practical mixed with the fanciful – it’s a nice balance.
Good luck at The Positively Petite event!
