Rock the Windsor

 

Some 6 hours of turning, carving, gluing and weaving…and it’s still not strong enough for me to sit on and have a rest.

Many of the parts are turned from birch, and tenoned into the maple seat frame. The seat is woven using a strand of silk.

    Wel weer schattigheid ten top, die komt voorlopig op m’n bureaublad hoor!

  2. Ha, it may have taken fewer hours to make the real thing, as you’re not constantly looking for individual pieces in the dust!
