This summer’s been rough on lawns, but we have a small green spot in the shade that still sprouts a multitude of grasses and weeds, like this mini bouquet:
The champagne flute was turned from a branch of the tree throwing the shadow on this photo. While the canopy serves as a grass saver, the wood was perfect for shaping a 0.8 mm (1/32 inch) thin protective wall around the flowers.
So delicate.
But actually pretty strong too, as the conical shape gives it strength
Outstanding, Marten. Sounds like it is almost thin enough to see through!
Thanks, I used an LED lamp inside it to see where the wood was thicker and thinner, as the light was shining right through the wood.
