Guess what I got?
A new sliding miter saw! So how better to show off its capabilities by solving a storage problem. Summer calls for those extra duvets to be tucked away AND I just happened to have a few pieces of plywood offcuts sitting around waiting to be used.
Here a single solution for all those “problems”: a four-foot wide blanket chest, just right to fit at the end of the bed, and solid enough to sit on while pulling up your socks. Next I will have to find a problem requiring actual miter cuts, rather than the straight-angled ones of this one, but the saw worked a treat. And so did the spindle sander for the curves, and the router for the bullnose edges.
NANOTRAY 
A little big bigger and that box would be great for a game of hide and seek, or maybe just hide if that is what the urge is.
I can almost feel the smoothness from here.

Hallo Maarten, Het is een mooie houten kist, Heel nuttig bovendien, Het lijkt me uitermate geschikt om zoekgeraakte spullen in op te bergen. Maar ik heb helaas wat weinig ruimte tussen bed en muur. Met de (engelse) woorden heb ik wat moeite. Wat is bv. een duvet, of een sliding miter saw. Mijn woordenboeken uit de HBS-tijd slaan deze over. En dan een router. Het woordenboek komt niet verder dan route, en sinds kort heb ik een router in huis, maar die zorgt voor draadloze verbinding met internet, maar niet voor hoeken van koeieneuzen. Dus dat kan niet de bedoeling zijn.
