Advent Sunday

With the first snow of the season icing our rooftops, replacing the dreary rains of November, I realize it’s already the first day of Advent. Time to wrap up warm and get into the Christmas spirit. To help others do just that, I recently donated this tiny nativity scene to a local charity, to support their fundraiser and help raise awareness for people struggling to survive on our streets. Streets that are right now covered in icy snow…

Instead of my favourite 1/144 scale, this piece is scaled down to 1/365, as a tribute to NightShift Street Ministries, who support people in the local community 365 days a year.
