…weather-proofing the latest custom ballet barre that’s rolled off my production line in recent weeks! Most of the barres I’ve been asked to design and build now live full-time in nice warm studios, but sometimes free-standing barres need to weather more than one pleasant surrounding. Mobile barres need to be light-weight and pack compact enough to transport, yet be strong and durable to support a dancer’s rigorous training.
This snow-posing barre is 5 ft long and was created for home use, while the three below were built for regular use in a small studio setting, where storage is at a premium:
