Here’s a yarn with a bit of a role-reversal…
Once upon a time, in a place not so far from here, there lived a collection of crochet hooks and needles. These fine creative tools were busily put to work to create beautiful pieces of art and elegant wear. They worked hard for the pleasure of others, but after a long day’s work, they had no home of their own to go to.
Along came a wood worker with a lathe and a plan. He took time out from his normal nano scale work to tailor-make a maxi solution for the homeless hooks. The home, which measures about 25 cm (10″) long with a diameter of 28 mm (1-1/8″), doubles as a giant crochet hook for when there’s a bigger yarn to spin.
And with that they all lived happily ever after.
