Shorter days call for longer evenings spent by the wood-burner, standing over the lathe and enjoying the scents of the season: wood shavings and sawdust mingling with the coffee aroma from the stove.
This tiny woodworker’s shop in 1:144 scale is the result of one of those evenings in preparation for the annual ‘Positively Petite’ miniature exhibit at Place des Arts in Coquitlam.
Join the artists for the opening reception on Thursday, 15th November, at 7 pm, or drop by next time you’re in that neck of the woods and enjoy the miniature paintings, sculptures and crafts on show. As the Christmas Boutique coincides with the exhibition, you’ll have an opportunity to stock up on stocking fillers and free up your evenings for more important stuff.
