Pine nuts be shelled

The linguistic problem: is a pine nut ‘shelled’ or ‘unshelled’ after or before you shell it?

The solution: discovered by a certain globe-trotting Aussie friend, for whom that groovy cookie-crushing roller was recently created… what crushes a cookie can unshell the problem pine nuts (and hit the hand that dares to steal the shelled ware)!
